30th Annual Aquaculture Drug Approval Coordination Workshop

It's almost time for the 30th Annual Aquaculture Drug Approval Coordination Workshop! Hosted by the USFWS AADAP Program, the Workshop will take place in Bozeman, MT from July 22th-25th, 2024. Unfortunately, due to staff limitations, we are not able to offer the virtual option of the Workshop this year.

Topics to be discussed include aquaculture drug research (bactericides, parasiticides, anesthetics, spawning aids, marking agents, vaccines, etc.), disease models, and new, up-and-coming drugs. Based on past years' Workshops, we anticipate this year's attendance to include representatives from numerous federal, state, tribal, and private-sector partners, as well as drug company sponsors, university researchers, and other entities involved in aquatic animal drug approval efforts. This is also a fantastic opportunity for those of us developing aquaculture drug approval data/strategies to have the chance for open-forum discussions with FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) representatives. In addition to lots of discussion time, we also have a few other networking/team-building events planned to help us connect with each other during the workshop.
